This morning we went virtually through part of Chinatown and its communities. Sometimes I forgot that I wasn't actually there at all. My mouth watered, I remembered the smells and emotions from 2020 and a strong longing came to the fore again💯👍🙏

To anyone passing through Bangkok, I recommend staying at INNSPIRE. Nestled in a quiet passage of a historical art quarters, right next to the water channel in city centre (3mins to Kao San). Clean rooms fairly priced, ample communal working space and a tasty breakfast. The best part are the hosts with an international background. They will take you for a bike ride to hidden parts of town and will provide an intellectual discourse into Thai culture and local dynamics. A place where digital nomads and thinkers discuss bright ideas and common interests. Definitely top of my list for SE Asian city accommodation.

Suffice to say the scenery was stunning, we travelled through wonderful quiet roads and tracks. Chatted to locals, stopped off at local farmers, snacks and breaks whenever you want, finished up back at the base camp. This tour really is a wonderful day. This is a relatively small organisation trying, and in my experience successfully delivering high quality experiences which offer good value for money. If you want something a bit different groups like the vanguards really should be one of your key places to go.

Throught Bangkok at night on a bike is an experience you won't forget. You'll see places outside the tourist attractions and you'll get a very different impression and view on Bangkok. We did the Bangkok360 tour with Michael. We saw more in one day than we saw for the other 3 days in Bangkok. It is by far the best tour I've ever done but it is not for the meek. You need a high level of stamina to keep up for the entire day in the Bangkok heat. You do experience Bangkok to the fullest though
