This may be the least interesting part of our website but please read these Booking Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”, “Terms and Conditions”) carefully before booking any products on www.bangkokvanguards.com (“the Site”) operated by bangkokvanguards Co. Ltd (“us”, “we”, or “our”). This Agreement sets forth the legally binding terms and conditions any travel products bought on www.bangkokvanguards.com

AVAILABILITY
The travel products and services sold through this site are subject to availability and can be withdrawn without notice. Tour is confirmed when full payment or partial payment (deposit payment) is received, guide has been confirmed and a final confirmation voucher has been sent.
When you send us a booking, we first have to check the availability of our freelance guides, if there’s no pre-existing group for your requested tour on your requested date or if you’re inquiring for a private tour. Once the guide confirms his/her availability on the requested tour date, we can fix your spot/participation through a deposit payment. Upon receiving the deposit payment we will send you a confirmation email with all relevant information.
GENERAL
The itinerary, accommodations, amenities, restaurants and modes of transportation are subject to change in the case of unforeseeable circumstances. The itineraries provided in advance will give an indication of what to expect, and any alterations will be to ensure the safety and comfort of guests during the trip. If the tour program or activity has to be changed, an alternative will be offered. bangkokvanguards’s programs are only valid for the person(s) whose name(s) they were originally issued for and are non-transferable. Failure to meet a reserved transport departure time results in the cancellation of that travel day.
bangkokvanguards will not be liable for any loss or damage arising out of or consequential upon, directly or indirectly, any abandonment of, or delay in, any departure howsoever caused. While all care will be taken, bangkokvanguards will not be held liable for any sickness and/or injury to any customer(s) or any damage to and/or loss of any property while you are utilizing any of the services provided by bangkokvanguards.
PRICES
All prices quoted are subject to availability. Prices are subject to change until full payment is received and confirmation voucher(s) are issued. Prices that are quoted include all taxes and fees unless stated otherwise. Prices shown on the website in the product description are not valid for private tours. Please, inquire with our team for quotations for a private tour.
DRESS CODE
Comfortable shoes (no flip flops) as well as some kind of long pants, or wrap to cover till the ankle (for both men and women) are usually recommended to bring along. Other than that, please wear culturally sensitive clothes, at least elbow and knee length. Route can vary according to weather condition, pace and interest of the group. Also, during rainy season it is advised to either bring a rain coat or umbrella.
DETAILS REQUIRED FROM THE GUESTS
We are required to obtain the passport details of our guests (Name and passport number) due to insurance policy which we are required by law to provide.
INSURANCE
Please note that insurance is only valid and applies if the booking was done NOT Shorter than 24 hours before begin of the tour.
PAYMENT
Full payment or a partial deposit payment is required to confirm a booking. Payment is required at 24 hours before departure. Thailand’s Paypal regulations require us to send you an invoice first in order to carry out a transaction to Bangkokvanguards.
CANCELLATION & REFUND
(Involuntary) On the rare occasions when we, bangkokvanguards, must cancel a trip, all payments received to date will be 100% refunded, which constitutes full settlement. There will be absolutely no deductions.
If you, the client, must cancel your reservation, your cancellation fee will be determined according to the following formula unless stated otherwise in a contract for customized tours. For regular open group and small group private tours the cancellation policy is as follows:
- Cancellation more than 7 days before departure (tour date): Full Refund
- Cancellation within 7 days of departure (tour date) we will fully refund minus 2,000thb cancellation fee.
- Cancellation 24 – 48 hours before departure: No refund of deposit but 50% refund if full payment was done.
- Less than 24 hours or No show: No refund for both deposit or full payment.
Also if one party is unable to attend the tour and only person is able to join the tour, the same price (for two people) applies when joining as a single individual.
POSTPONEMENT, RESCHEDULING OR CANCELLATION BECAUSE OF RAIN
Once a tour is confirmed through partial or full payment, the guide is obliged to show up at the meeting point to wait and evaluate the weather situation beyond the starting time of the tour since weather conditions can change shortly after the tour allowing for the continuation of the scheduled program. Hence a request of a postponement of the tour (to a different date) due to bad weather equals a cancellations hence a cancellation fee of 2,000THB is due regardless of the reason for postponement by the side of the booker if the postponement occurs within 7 days of the tour. Please, keep this risk in mind during the rainy season.
Having an amazing experience
While this can not be guaranteed as expectations and attitudes vary we do our utmost to exceed our expectations. However, please bear in mind that the nature of our travel experiences is to show you reality as it is in all its facets without relying on places and activities that are suited for tourists. Our tours can be intensive as they are relaxing and enjoyable. However they require an open mind, curiosity and tolerance.
GOVERNING LAW
This Agreement (and any further rules, polices, or guidelines incorporated by reference) shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Thailand, without giving effect to any principles of conflicts of law.
CHANGES TO THIS AGREEMENT
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms and Conditions by posting the updated terms on the Site. For existing bookings the Terms and Conditions will be governed by the version at the time of booking.
PROPRIERTARY MATERIAL
All visual and audio on this website including mood and tone, text, photographs ,video, sound, data ,contents, formatting (collectively “Proprietary Material”) is owned by us, or is used with the owner’s permission. This Proprietary Material is all reserved. You may not copy, download, redesign, or retransmit anything from this website without our advance permission.
