A food and boat tour through the culinary world of Bangkok’s riverine merchant and agrarian communities as well as traditional food producers
Bangkok has historically been known as the Venice of Asia. The Riverine Flavors experience traces the food and heritage of communities living by or near the water along the Chao Phraya River and the canals. Follow ancient trade routes and visit old harbor areas and markets, enjoy home cooked food and farm to table experiences, meet and greet with some of the oldest remaining producers of essential ingredients such as soy sauce and fish sauce and experience how the new generation reinvents their family businesses by applying new culinary concepts. This journey on foot and by boat immerses you in the riverine life of one of the world’s greatest delta cities with insights into Bangkok’s diverse riverine landscapes, ways of life and flavorful cuisines.
I felt like I was a part of the everyday life of a vibrant, energetic, and cosmopolitan city. Where most tours look at an aspect of a culture, this tour allows its participants to be part of the culture

Well, all I can say is, awesome. We did the Starters tour today with Mu. It was great. We had high expectations due to the TripAdvisor reviews, and the tour fit the bill.
