The great Teochew frontiers takes you off the beaten path and out of Bangkok on train, boat and bikes. Our route takes you on the journey of our founder’s Teochew ancestors along forgotten routes that connected Bangkok and its western frontier regions in the 19th century. We follow the rail line and canal system built at that era and explore hidden trails in the lower Maeklong area into the hidden waterfront communities of Samut Songkhram.
Our goal is to enjoy the nature and the heritage of bygone days. We explore ancient fishing villages, floating markets and endless plantations hidden in the shadow of Bangkok’s ever expanding urban environment. Stay overnight in beautiful agricultural communities, enjoy dinner in a historic home, engage in activities with local communities and explore remote waterfront communities along incredibly scenic biking trails.
