This culinary experience focuses on the food culture of the Bangkok’s ancient political, cultural and commercial heart and offers a wide array of central Thai dishes shaped by the country’s nobility and migration. Trace the evolution of Thai food and explore the hidden back lanes and ancient markets. Engage with shop owners and sample delicious snacks and shared meals prepared by street vendors and multi-generational businesses that attract patrons from various layers of society. Join us from breakfast to post lunch to appreciate Bangkok’s living history and flavors in new found ways.

DURATION:
8:30 – 14:00 (Approx. 5.5 hours)

 

DIFFICULTY:
Easy walk, flat terrain, some busy markets, narrow alleys. Prepare for humidity and heat esp. during the months March – May. If you have difficulties walking, book this tour as a private tour.

IMPORTANT: In case you have booked the Ultimate Food Tour before. This tour is a half-day version of our previous Ultimate Food Tour (hence overlaps) but extended with some additional awesome culinary elements.

IMPORTANT: This tour is not vegetarian friendly. On Mondays street vendors are not allowed to sell along the sidewalks hence some street markets won’t be as busy. Thus stops or tastings may vary depending on the day of the week, weather and group size but regardless where we go, we ensure you always have a delicious experience.
